Hi,

I was redirected here by thrawn would told me that you might be able to help.

I'm using xp64 with the latest firefox build and the trick with adobe premier plugins in order to be able to play latest video in website.

It works well on youtube but on other site its not the case.

Here the report of the first investigation:

I’ve taken a look, and this is a [Digiteka] v.5 JavaScript player likely based on [Video.js]. The fact that there are YouTube references in the code simply seems to reflect the capability of the player to source YT videos as well, but that doesn’t have to be the case.

I assume the problem does not lie with Adobe PrimeTime here. A quick test with SRware Iron based on Chromium 49.0.2600.0 on the same system does play the video.

I can’t be perfectly sure, but I think this might be a JavaScript problem, which is ultimately something I have no idea of how to fix. Palemoon/New Moon on XP (which has additional fixes and uses DRM-free ffmpeg instead of PrimeTime) does play the Video.js demos, but fails with the Digiteka scripts as well, which augments my belief that the issue is with their JS.

Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fix this. You may wish to report this in roytam1’s [browser builds thread] in the MSFN forums. Since roytam1 and Feodor are doing the backports to XP / XP x64, they might have an idea. There are quite a few capable users there as well, who might be able to help.

Thanks in advance,

Have a good day,

Rgds,
