Updating IE11 TLS cipher suites using Schannel.dll from Win10?

Some HTTPS sites use TLS cipher suites that work in IE11 under in Windows 10, but not in Windows 7 or 8. (Details linked below.)

Anyone tried using Schannel.dll from W10, maybe along with any registry dependencies?
