Misread your question.Well if you're using a router that doesn't allow the turning off of your firewall there is very little that you can do. However, alternative methods and workings would be to either install a completely new IM client or try using a proxy set-up (depending on what ports are being blocked). zhydian Posted April 17, 2004 Share Posted April 17, 2004 so msn msg and a router dont mixThat's not it at all.. what kind of router do you have? most routers nowadays are upnp which configure themselves and are compatible with most messangers. if you router is not UPNP then you need to search the net for the ports that msn uses and configure your router to allow those ports to your computer.
