problem with multidvd

Recommended Posts

I have followed flyakites multiboot guide.

My own multidvd contains XP Pro (Unattend and regular) and some other suff. But it is the winxp part that is causing trouble.

[PRO1] <-- bootfolder for regular install

[PRO2] <-- bootfolder for unattended install

[XP] <-- original xp install folder

--[$OEM$]

--[i386]

PRO1.DAT

PRO2.DAT

WIN51

WIN51IP

WIN51ip.SP1

spnotes.htm

viktig.htm

The folder I386 does not contain files like txtsetup.*, setupldr.bin or setupp.inf

PRO1 and PRO2 bootfolders each contain an txtsetup.sif (setupsourcepath="\XP\"), setupldr.bin (hex edited according to the dir it is within). The PRO2 bootfolder also has a winnt.sif.

Both regular and unattend xp ends short time in textmode with errorcode 14. Could not find the file \PRO1\vgaoem.fon. (file \PRO2\vgaoem.fon for unattend)

The file is not missing in the XP\I386\ directory, it is just compressed.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

never had, my only guesses are that the file my be corrupt.....try and get a fresh copy from a workin CD.

for somereason, the entry regard the file is missing from EITHER txtsetup.sif or dosnet.inf (most likely dosnet.inf)

or.....the file shouldn't be compressed. (Mind you this is just the top of my head)
