(Solved) IE 11 Not Saving Passwords

Featured Replies

Hi guys....

I have been trying to stop the popup for google's security policy that popups all the time on this one computer....

I saw a thread about logging into google to stop this happening but it is worse than that...

IE 11 on Windows 7 will not save passwords...if I open a new tab it asks for all my details again....if I shut IE 11 it is the same thing....I have reset internet explorer and it is still happening...I tried starting IE 11 without applications but still the same problem....

Has anyone any idea what to do?

It isn't a virus/malware have checked...

Hi guys!

I have done extensive tests and cannot find a problem....

It does seem to be connected to my profile...

If I login to my girlfriends user account no problem saving password in IE for google....

So without creating a new profile I can't think what to do...?

Hi guys!

Fixed it.....

I reinstalled IE 11 and things are working as they should again....do not understand what became corrupted but it works...

I will add that when I sat and thought about things...I had been having problems with getting to computers on home network...I use Openmediavault a lot and after logging in the screen went blank...now everything works again....
