Tls321 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Hello! Recently, I decided to duel boot Windows 7 and Windows 2000 for the heck of it. I created a bootable USB from my WIN2000 iso using UltraISO, and after selecting my Lexar usb from the boot menu on my laptop to start the install, it starts for a few seconds and then shows the error "INF file txtsetup.sif is corrupt or missing. Setup cannot continue. Press any key to exit." Is there anywhere I can download txtsetup.sif, anyway to activate the file, really anything would be great at this point. Thanks!

The USB stick contents need to be adapted/modified to allow the install (or you can install copying files to hard disk, etc.), here: http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/157-install-windows-from-usb/ you will find a number of possible ways, most will be for XP or later OS, but there should be a couple ways/methods also tested for Win2k, the easiest would be: jaclaz Edited April 21, 2017 by jaclaz
