kageyfna
Hi I am using the www.unattended.org as a guild for creating WinXP Pro CD's.However instead of having winnt.sif on the CD we want to have unattended.txt on a floppy.We have got the unattended install itself running correctly, but the $OEM$ folder is not copying over.Here is the unattend.txt we are using:----------;SetupMgrTag[Data] AutoPartition=1 MsDosInitiated=0 UnattendedInstall=Yes[unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS UnattendSwitch=Yes OemPnPDriversPath="dell\Drivers\Precision 360\Network\Precision 360 & 360N\WinXP" DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore[GuiUnattended] AdminPassword="xxxxxxx" EncryptedAdminPassword=No AutoLogon=Yes AutoLogonCount=3 TimeZone=20 OemSkipWelcome=1 OEMSkipRegional=1[userData] ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx FullName="xxx" OrgName="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" ComputerName=*[Display] BitsPerPel=16 Xresolution=1024 YResolution=768[TapiLocation] CountryCode=1 AreaCode=xxx[setupMgr] DistFolder=H:\windist1 DistShare=windist1[branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes Home_Page=http:\\www.google.com Search_Page=http:\\www.google.com[Proxy] Proxy_Enable=1 Use_Same_Proxy=1 HTTP_Proxy_Server=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx Proxy_Override=<local>[GuiRunOnce] Command0=C:\Updates\DirectX9-KB819696-x86-ENU Command1=C:\Updates\js56nen Command2=C:\Updates\q330994 Command3=C:\Updates\Q816093_W2K_SP4_X86_EN Command4=C:\Updates\Q817787_XPE_SP2_X86_ENU Command5=C:\Updates\Q832483_xpe_sp2_x86_enu Command6=C:\Updates\Q832894 Command7=C:\Updates\WindowsMedia-Q828026-x86-ENU Command8=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB823182-x86-ENU Command9=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB824105-x86-ENU Command10=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB824146-x86-ENU Command11=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB825119-x86-ENU Command12=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB826939-x86-ENU Command13=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB828028-x86-ENU Command14=C:\Updates\WindowsXP-KB828035-x86-ENU Command15=C:\BASEINST.EXE[identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP[Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes----------And the autoexec.bat thats on the floppy----------ECHO OFFA:\SMARTDRV.EXEMSCDEX.EXE /D:BANANA /L:RFORMAT C: /QR:\I386\WINNT.EXE /U:A:\UNATTEND.TXT /S R:\I386----------The $OEM$ and I386 folders are in the root of the CD rom drive, and there is no scratches on the CD. Blyster
Having the $OEM$ at the root of the cd is for when you boot off of the CD. If im not mistaken, since you are using winnt.exe to initiate the install, you need to move the $OEM$ folder inside the i386 folder. Try that and let us know how it goes.Blyster
