Zhoerd
Did you play around with jumper settings on the hard disk? Or been changing cd-rom drives?
MartinW
No, I haven't played around with anything. When I installed XP with the original disc it worked fine. Twice.
Aaron
Its more likely a bad burn, how did you create the ISO or burn the files?
MartinW
I use the ISO creation tool that is recommended here on the unattend.msfn.org site. And I burn them with Nero to CD-Rs (also tried a bunch of times to CD-RWs with same result.
firstodd
I use the ISO creation tool that is recommended here on the unattend.msfn.org site. And I burn them with Nero to CD-Rs (also tried a bunch of times to CD-RWs with same result.I just got past the error while installing Windows MCE by burning my disc back-up with PowerISO (which I used to make it) rather than Nero. All the Nero copies gave me this error, the PowerISO copy was fine. Same disc brand, same hardware plugged in, etc. I think it might have something to do with encryption or security.
