what file or files are responsible for checking certificates on win7

and how can it be bypassed ?

 

(yes I'm aware of test signature mode, but thats not what I want)

I think this may help:

 

To avoid to press F8 and select "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement" on every boot, it is also possible follow these steps:

1) Click rigth on "Start" button, select "Run" and type gpedit.msc.

2) In "Local Group Policy Editor" window select "User Configuration" --> "Administrative Templates"--> "System" --> "Driver Installation" and then "Code Signing for device drivers".

3) Set "Enabled" and "Ignore", then click "OK" to save changes.
