Could someone tell me how to change the following settings so I wont have to change thme after install:

1) folder setting; Single click to open, underline when i point to them

2) folder setting; Display contents of system folders

3) folder setting; Show hidden files and folders

4) folder setting; Dont hide protected OS files

i don't know if the first one has been posted yet, but the others ahve.

they're all registry tweaks. There be a whole thread of them in the sticky section.

You could also find a registry monitor program, and run a scan before applying settings, change them, then rerun the scan and have the program analyze for differences.
