Nephilim Posted April 4, 2004 Share Posted April 4, 2004 Okay, I just reinstalled my Notebook (Acer Travelmate 801), but after installing every driver I could possibly find I still have an unknown entry.One problem is that I am using a german Windows XP and I don't know what the entry's name would be in english, but the literal translation would be "basic system device" (in german: Basissystemgerät).Getting a little help from a close friend of mine named google ;-) I found out that I need to reinstall the chipset driver which is kind of odd as I only installed it like a trillion times.I am completely lost here, is there anyone who could help me?Thanks in advance,Nephilim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
