How to fully disable Windows Defender in Win 8.1?

Sorry, I think I should be following the discussion on 8.1 more closely than I've been of late...

But... has the way to completely disable Windows Defender (and maybe even install MSE 4.6.305.0, for instance) found?

Please tell me (or give me links to) how exactly can one do it on 8.1?

Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender
