pangoomis Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 In WIN95, all I have to do is replace the 640x480x2 "108" bitmap inside WINSETUP.BIN and that;s it. You can even make the background (and setup) in 1024x768, but that's for another topic. But how to add a background during MS-DOS setup in Win98 in place of the blue colour? There's no bitmap in WINSETUP.BIN in Win98. Is it overtaken by the SUWIN.EXE (or other file)?
netbookdelgob Posted April 8, 2015 Posted April 8, 2015 You mean the 98 text mode boot setup? (Like 2000 one) or the 98 graphical install?
pangoomis Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 (edited) I mean the setup which you start from MS-DOS, this one: I want to replace the blue background with a custom picture (I know in Win95 it can be either 2 colors like the original background, or MS 16 color palette) Edited April 8, 2015 by MrMateczko
