upnwc Posted April 2, 2004 Posted April 2, 2004 We have been trying an unattended install of XP PRO, I used slipstream method to upgrade to SP1 then created an ISO as stated on this site. The problem is I'm getting a strange error. I should excuse myself if this has been talked about before but alas I'm new here! Anyway the CD boots ok but I get this "Please place the manufacurers XP CD in drive A:" well that's about as close as I remember but it's real close to a quote. I put in the manufacturers CD and away it goes, what's up with that. I can't find any doc's talking about it but lots of jokes! Anybody feel like enlightening me on this? Of course thanks in advance....
upnwc Posted April 2, 2004 Author Posted April 2, 2004 we're at a school and it's a copy of the original. This ia a class project and most of the students are not having this problem just one. I can't fiure it out and it's driving me nuts.
