Missing a Clean desktop mode (Like Xp / Win 7) we can use at the office, reading and writing Doc's, sending mail and so on.

My office have a job to do, we actual don't need to pay and use a lot of money to pay for all this crap, apps, shit and fancy layout.

IMHO that's they key to it all: unlike the supposed masses that Microsoft fantasizes about winning over with toy apps, you (and me and most everyone here) have work to be done. And that's why we prefer the Windows Desktop just as it is, thank you very much.
