A quickie question

On XP I could pin an internet shortcut to my taskbar,(Quick Launch Toolbar) so I could quickly and easily open up a web page without going back to my desktop to find the shortcut.

 

But, on windows 7, it won't allow me to pin a shortcut to my taskbar (Quick Launch Tool Bar).

 

Is there a way to circumvent this annoyance?

While holding the Shift key, right click the shortcut and "Pin to taskbar" will appear in the drop-down menu.
