whats happened to the emails when someone replys to a post, does the new board do it......?

it's not there when you reply to a post, it's there when you're viewing the thread.. it's called "track this topic"

oh wait, nevermind, i just subscribed to one of the threads, and it seems like you get one email per day, like Phyb3r said..

oh well, still not too bad

hopefully they will improve this feature in future releases ...

at the bottom of every thread, there is an option : "track this topic"

Did you click that piaqt?

because this board does not automatically send emails to new replies like vBulletin did...

You need to manually select the threads you want to subscribe yourself

Is it a limitation in Invision Board or is it configured like that ?

well, as far as i know, it is a limitation of invision board so that your email doesn't get spammed with all the replies...

It does make sense that it sends one email tho, since you will visit this thread once it sends you the e-mail, you will be able to see the newer posts at the same time
