MS is now forcing .NET 3.5 on everyone as a high-priority update.

Just ran a test with all the high-priority updates except for the MSRT, This is what greeted me on WU....

It's a brand new install. I don't have a trace of .NET!

When you use MBSA 2.2 , you never get into the green zone unless you have it installed. (and all the updates that follow)

I Wonder if that is why they added it.

It's an added security risk having it. Constant security updates.

What about the MBSA 2.2 saying that your computer is more secure after you add everything ? (green as opposed to yellow or red)

MS is often wrong.

OK.

Edit: -X-, fresh install, this update isn't showing up for me. (fyi)

It happened to me too but now it no longer shows, maybe they pulled the update?
