I'm using a built-in to motherboard NIC. How would i go about setting a Static ip and Subnet Mask on my Local Area Connection? I know there's a simple solution to this...

Thanks

Unattended :) I know how to do it in windows:

Right-click network connection

Properties

Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

Properties

Use the following IP address...

But how would i go about setting this up automatically?

Thanks

You should be able to do this usinf winnt.sif.

Use the setupmgr from the xp deploy tools to create your winnt.sif file and it will run you through the network setup. Just tell it not to use the defaults and set it up how you want it with the correct ip info

could you post the code for networking info? I see the place to tell it not to use the defaults, but i don't see where to input the ip?

Thanks
