innocentson Posted March 21, 2004 Posted March 21, 2004 Is anyone else having any trouble using the test V5 or windows update site?i go there and am able to download the security and other important downloads just fine..but when i go to download .net framework 1.1 and a driver for my web cam they download fine over my dsl but fail to load!! Help!thanksTony
Datalore Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 Since the site is in beta, there's not much you can really do. It would be best to wait for the final and obtain the 2 mentioned programs from alternative sources.
gosh Posted March 22, 2004 Posted March 22, 2004 That isn't advice. Look at the windows update.log file for an error code and search google on it. Or delete program files\windows update folder. Run sfc /scannow.-gosh
