bucketbuster Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 I want to create shortcuts for calc.exe, mspaint.exe and notepad.exe in the Start Menu..(Start->Programs->Accessories->shortcut to calc.exe, mspaint.exe and notepad.exe).They are located in C:\WINDOWS\system32\How can I do that with a batchfile or another way?
Aaron Posted March 17, 2004 Posted March 17, 2004 Make a shortcut to all three of them, then use COPY to copy over the .lnk files during an unattended installation.
RayOK Posted March 18, 2004 Posted March 18, 2004 WinRAR can make shortcuts as part of an SFX. For the winamp.msi posed on XtremeMac's site he is missing a few files (namely px.dll) and I just extract my own with WinRAR and create a shortcut to Winamp.exe at the same time.
