MagicAndre1981
PreSMSS is slow (120s):+<interval endTime="122244" startTime="0" name="PreSMSS" duration="122244">I can see that the kernel uses a lot of CPU during this time. You need to run this command:xbootmgr -trace boot -traceFlags BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER -stackwalk profile -resultPath C:\TEMPi need the stackwalk data to see what the kernel does. MagicAndre1981
ok, starting your HDD is slow:Your driver version of iaStorA.sys is "12.8.0.1016". Try older drivers or use the Microsoft AHCI driver.
Jayce
I am desperatly trying to uninstall that driver to get an older one or an other one, but once i uninstall it, I got a BSOD during PreSMSS.Still trying to resolve this and post a new boot traceEDIT:Finally achieved rollback of named driver, to version 12.7.0.1036 (official one found on ASUS website for my MB) for the same boot time and following trace : http://online-legion.com/jayce/boot_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1_22_09_2013_2350.zip(upload will end 10 minutes after that edit)thanks againJayceEDIT 2 :I tried out with 2 other drivers, an other INTEL and an ASMedia, boot time seems to shorten a little with those but is still long. Here is correspnding trace :http://online-legion.com/jayce/boot_BASE+CSWITCH+DRIVERS+POWER_1_23_09_2013_0051.zip(upload will end 10 minutes after that edit) Edited September 22, 2013 by Jayce
MagicAndre1981
the 12.7.0.1036 doesn't fix it. Still the same.the last trace shows that the driver issue is fixed. Now Windows hags while enum die IDE controller:<pnpObject name="PCIIDE\IDEChannel\4+20155ac6+0+3" type="Device" activity="Enum" startTime="556" endTime="47564" duration="47009" prePendTime="0" description="Canal IDE" friendlyName="ATA Channel 3" />this causes a 47s delay.I also see that the TPM driver causes a delay. Do you use TPM?
Jayce
Hello,What can I do for IDE issue ? plug off my old IDE drives ? My IDE drives are really tired, is it possible that the disk is the problem more than IDE channels ?I did not really understood the concept of TPM (it seems to be a chip for security purposes), if I am using it i do not know I am May TPM be disabled ? In BIOS ?EDIT : I found that article on TPM, is it universal for all OS and platforms ? ( http://technet.microsoft.com/fr-fr/library/cc754524.aspx )Thanks for your precious help,Jayce Edited September 23, 2013 by Jayce

jaclaz
How many drives are they? Try with one at the time. Check that they are NOT on "cable select", verify the jumpers on them to be set correctly. jaclaz
