Event logging

Please help! I have an old very dear computer Asus Motherboard 3.4 GHz with 3 GB ram running Windows XP media center original, yesterday I disabled the Event logging from the BIOSand could not get any screen any more, then I resetted the CMOS battery but the same. Does anybody can help mewith that?

Perhaps you might begin by :

- explaining what is wrong exactly

- exactly what you did and how you did it

- post the exact model of your mainboard.

To reset you BIOS you need to shorten some contacts or pins with a jumper or metal object (screwdriver). Removing the battery will only reset your clock probably.
