MagicAndre1981 Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Update the netr28.sys. This driver causes the spikes. This is your RAlink network driver. Update to the latest version 5.0.21.0.
andseg Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 (edited) I will see if it works ( weird, my driver update didn't manage to download this one for me ). Sorry for all the gramatical errors and for the trouble. Thanks for saving my computer thanks André Edited March 26, 2013 by andseg
andseg Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 Well, i don't kwon how to update this file '-' i tried downloading but there is no .exe or anything to install it for me. So, where can i download a installer or where do I install it?
submix8c Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) ???Inside a "Package" there's usually a "whatever. INF" file. Go to Device Manager, right-click the Device, Properties, 'Update Driver", make it point to the Folder where you have the files and "Do It".Are these the files?http://www.mediafire.com/?0hyzoqdrdv4y2bhLooks like them to me....Found via GoogleRAlink "5.0.21.0"First link led to the above link. There IS NO INSTALLER! You have to do that manually... Edited March 27, 2013 by submix8c
MagicAndre1981 Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 he needs the 32Bit drivers. The 64Bit would be netr28x.sys
submix8c Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 I can find no x86 by that Version you give. One might wonder why you say the OP needs the x86 when his OS states x64.They CAN be found herehttp://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Search.aspx?q=5.0.21.0BUT, the ones I checked all come up as "AMD64" (64-bit).
