Media Center antenna signal

I have been using media center with a an analog cable tv signal for years. No our cable company is migrated their analog channels to digital, requiring me to use a set top box. That didn't work. So I purchased an inexpensive indoor HD antenna. It receives five strong signals when hooked directly to the TV. But when I attach it to the media center TV tuner I can not set the signal up. The scan does not find a signal.
