jefoss Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 When I used the Windows 7 "Move to Folder"command to select multiple files to move to another partition, only the folder structure was created on the destination partition, no files were moved. On the source partition the folder structure remained with no files inside. I lost several thousand files.
Tripredacus Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 How exactly did you do this "Move to Folder" command?Anyways are you sure you actually lost the files? Did you verify an actual loss of disk space, or check for hidden files?
myselfidem Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 When I used the Windows 7 "Move to Folder"command to select multiple files to move to another partition..I can use successfully "Move to a folder..." to move a folder with multiples files to another partition, adding this reg file:Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\Move To]@="{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}"
