Saving Services.msc in Word

Using XP Home./ Office 2000 I have tweaked my Services.msc and would like to save my changes in the original column format to Word. I was able to do this a while back but can't find the info online again. On one post I found this " Sorted it out thx. easy when u know how.

i xported the list to wordpad in original format." but I need to find how how to do this.

Right click on services on the left pane, and select "export list".

Thanks for the info. That copies the file but does not keep the file in the original format. It's a jumble of words. There is a way and can be done in a couple of steps. I have done it with Word or Wordpad. Just can't remember the steps. Thanks again

msc files are like xml files, try notepad

Thanks again. Tried opening Services.msc in Notepad and Wordpad and still can't get the file to come up in the original format. I will try googling how to open msc files.
