KrautRock44 Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 I receive BSOD always when I start Media Player Classic or Media Player Classic - Home Cinema and my SilverCrest USB Headset is plugged.Guilty for this is cmudaxu.sys located in C:\Program Files\SilverCrest Vibration Headset\Driver and C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.Cmudaxu.sys with description C-Media USB Audio WDM Driver is a driver file from company C-Media Inc belonging to product C-Media USB Audio Driver (WDM).This problem is very annoying because sometimes I forget the headset plugged and when I start Media Player -->> BSOD.The system that I use is Windows XP Professional with SP3.For sure is not a virus.Any good idea ? Please help !
Tripredacus Posted September 14, 2011 Posted September 14, 2011 You may need to get a memory dump. Check the sticky in the XP forum (where this topic will go)
