nlite Windows Xp install goes on reboot loop

hi.

So I made a custom Windows XP Pro SP3 iso with some 64 updates and custom settings.

Then, I proceed to install windows inside Virtualbox.

But after I set the partition to use and it copies file, the installer reboot, and ... keep on rebooting.

I have seen on the net that such reboot loop might be caused by missing drivers. I don't know if I removed something needed.

I finally installed with an untouched windows XP Pro SP3 iso without problem.

Your update list is kind of a mess. I suggest you use my UDC script to download the needed updates. Link in signature.

nLite can't handle the IE8 or WMP installer by itself. You need to use Booooggy's slipstreamer for WMP 11 and an add-on that you can make by visiting my site and grabbing the IE8 add-on maker.

Don't use my WMP add-ons if you are going the WMP 11 route as my add-ons are for WMP 9.

Having said all that, I don't know if that is related to your problem.

yes. My list of updates is an "old" WUD (Windows Update Downloader) list. I did not though to look for a list specific to nlite. because a list is a list after all.

But thanks to point me to your list. This is what I was missing.

I just also noticed HFSLIP on this forum that could be an alternative ?
