  1. yes. My list of updates is an "old" WUD (Windows Update Downloader) list. I did not though to look for a list specific to nlite. because a list is a list after all. But thanks to point me to your list. This is what I was missing. I just also noticed HFSLIP on this forum that could be an alternative ?
  2. hi. So I made a custom Windows XP Pro SP3 iso with some 64 updates and custom settings. Then, I proceed to install windows inside Virtualbox. But after I set the partition to use and it copies file, the installer reboot, and ... keep on rebooting. I have seen on the net that such reboot loop might be caused by missing drivers. I don't know if I removed something needed. I finally installed with an untouched windows XP Pro SP3 iso without problem. the settings are attached below. Last Session.ini
  3. I don't know if it needs admin right or not, but it asks for them. even before I can choose the directory. So there is a flaw there Also, talking about nlite.exe and not the archive or the installer, nlite.exe also request admin right. And I don't see why either. because copying files, slipstreaming etc ... can be done as anormal user, right ? I am running windows 7 yes.
  4. When I go to the download page of nliteos.com, I can download an Installer and below a self-extracting archive. but the so-called self-extracting archive requires administrator privelege and install file in Program Files/nLite this looks to me exactly as an installation setup executable. not an archive a real self-extracting archive extracts file from the file without admin privelege in the current directory. Why not provide a .zip file instead ??? also the main download links pointing to http://home.midmaine.com/~nlite/nlite/... are broken
