ok..i got rollercoaster tycoon and was playin around with it...i can play and save fine but i cant load saved games under XP. When i click the load button from the main screen or from within a new game it just closes, even under compatibility mode. I tried the same copy under 98 and it works fine. any ideas?

Have you installed the latest patches?

it gives me an error saying "unrecognized game version or game files are corrupt"

aKaFrEE,you'll have to uninstall the game,re-install it,then apply the patch.

applying the patch will probably over write the updates tho.. might not but usually does so check the version after doing it, if not ill keep an eye out for a no-cd version update

always backup the main game executable when you are about to apply a no-cd. e.g. rename the original file to rollercoaster_old.exe so that whenever an update comes out, you can apply it when you rename rollercoaster_old.exe back to its real filename. This way you won't have to reinstall the game if an update needs to be applied.

If this doesn't make sense, then sorry, i'm too stoned!

thanks for the help...I'll keep lookin for the nocd patch but until then I'll just keep playin it under 98(blah)
