I still keep my Voodoo 2 in my machine for some old Glide games, which still rocks the pants of from D3D & Opengl. Looking for some good new drivers for Win 2000 & XP, the only ones I have is beta release for DirectX 7.
bjorland Posted September 19, 2001 Author Posted September 19, 2001 Okay, installed the beta drivers for Windows 2000 on XP and tested Unreal Tournament. Is working excellent and it is fast, but I would like to get official Voodoo 2 drivers for XP running on DirectX 8.
Mr.Mark Posted September 21, 2001 Posted September 21, 2001 Although they are not making anymore new drivers,www.3dfx.com is still up,and even they answer the support phone.For XP try www.go.to/3dfxpwww.3dfxunderground has come up with a program,includes tools that works on XP home.But so far I cannot find a driver for XP-Pro.If you find one for Voodoo5 post it please.Mark Liccini
