I am trying to just install xp onto HD from different comp that I have connected using usb to serial. When I put disc in it says Its blocked due to compatibility issues. I tried calling tech support and they said there are some files i need to get rid of or move to make it not have this issue so i can install but they wanted money to help me. Not going to pay 80 bucks just for this. Does anyone know what I have to do to make it allow the setup. I am not trying to install xp on my current computer it is new and windows 7 works fine so i dont wanna mess anything up. Just need it to allow me to install on this other hard drive that i already have wiped and formatted. Please help.

Disconnect the drive containing Win7, connect the new formatted drive and install XP, remove the XP drive, reinstall/reconnect the Win7 drive. Should prevent all incompatibility issues.
