Guest Raefer Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I have Vista Ultimate 64 and my lan connection is hit or miss the board is a PCIe GBE Family controller. It loses the internet connection and we have to unplug router & Modem. Other com[uters on the router work fine. Could the lan board be bad? I also have 2 New kingston KNE120TX with original software available to anyone that needs them, you just pay shipping.

Not here.13. No user shall, by any means:1. * Sell, trade, or give away hardware, software, or any other goods whatsoever.Board Rules Besides, if you have to reboot other hardware (such as modem and router) and rebooting the computer itself doesn't do it, I would jump to the conclusion that the NIC is the issue.

cluberti Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Sorry you feel that way, but the rules are there for our protection and yours. Failure to follow rules may result in a ban, and you did agree to them when you signed up. Perhaps you should have read them completely and/or taken them more seriously. Again, sorry to see you go, but your attitude pushes the "may" into a "will" when it comes to the possibility of a ban.
