Changing the Default "Look in" Folder for Searches

When I press F3 to do a search, the default folder is "Desktop" but I would prefer if it were C:;D:

How can this be changed?

I don't think it can be changed.

It searches whatever folder you are in at the moment. You're probably viewing your desktop when you press F3.

To open search local hard drives, use the one on the start menu.

Or right-click "My Computer" /Search.
