Featured Replies

Hi guys, I have accidently removed windows search by vlite, is there any way by which I can bring back windows search in my OS? I have already tried "Trun Windows Feature on or Off", Windows Search option is not there, I have also tried "Local Group Policy Editor" moreover I have also tried to repair (Startup Repair) my OS using my friends DVD but no success.

You can download Windows Search for Windows 7 and install it:

Windows Search 4.0

Description of Windows Search 4.0 and the Multilingual User Interface Pack for Windows Search 4.0

*Edit:

You can also try to use Repair Install with your Windows 7 original DVD.

Windows 7 - Repair Install

Windows 7 - Extract Files from Windows 7 Installation DVD
