colore Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 helloI want each time I open a new ms word 2010 document, to use the style in the red circle:how do I do this?thanks
submix8c Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 I don't use Office 2010 but there's usually (in all previous versions) a file called NORMAL.DOT which is the default. Find it, change it (with whatever settings you want) and all "new" documents will use it. I'm not sure (can't remember), but you may be able to "save" the file in your own User profile where it will be picked up instead of the installed one.
colore Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 I searched for NORMAL.DOTM but I found nothingany hint?
submix8c Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Did you use the "Advanced" options in the Search?

submix8c Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Default name when saving "Save As"... just do "SAVE"!
colore Posted February 10, 2011 Author Posted February 10, 2011 Default name when saving "Save As"... just do "SAVE"!it doesn't work, it asks to save it as "Doc1.docx" :S
submix8c Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 How about "save as type" in the pull-down? did you change that?
colore Posted February 11, 2011 Author Posted February 11, 2011 that was too much of work, Ithought there would be an easy way from menus within MSWord
