Just wondering what other patches/updates I need for 2kpro. I only have 2k with sp4, which is basically all that installed from the disc. I briefly read about UR1 but not sure if I need it. I think I can get these at MGDX's site? Do I need to use Windows Update if I manage to get everything from it by downloading mirrored patches?

You may want to try the UNofficial SP5.

Hmm, I have read that uSP5 uses Microsoft beta files, so it is not going to be particularly stable. I think I will skip it (or read more about it first). I have also seen some Autopatcher 2000 files circulating around the Internet, so I am confused if it is legitimate and which one would be the latest and best to install, if it exists. I think I will have to do some manual installation myself. I have not even begun using the Microsoft Automatic Updates yet and as well as UR1. I have also seen there are 50 or so post-UR1 patches as well. Just wanted to see if there was a good 2k autopatcher so that I could install everything as unattended as possible ( much like Soporific's 98SE autopatcher). :/
