Hernicz Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 Hi! I've got a Sony VAIO VPCEB2Z1E laptop with Radeon 5650 and Core i5 which has an internal intel graphic core.My question is: Can I swich between these two cards while windows is running, or should I make two boot options, one with Radeon and one with Intel graphics.I want to swith to Intel graphics, beacause it's enough to work or watch videos and doesn't consume as much as Radeon.
Tripredacus Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 MSI ( I believe ) made a notebook with this technology. I wasn't very fond of it. Yes you can switch between the adapters BUT a reboot is required to actually use the other one. Frankly I didn't see the point of that "feature" so your dual boot option may have something to it.
