jrm7262 Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Hi All, Have an Asus T91 with "Win XP Home" installed on it. My recovery CD contains a Ghost.img .In the past, read an article about a utility that would copy all the necessary files from your working installation of Windows on to a CD so you could then use nlite an do a re-install.Was this article just somebody's wish list or does this utility actually exist?Or are there any possibilities of me being able to nlite my windows either as above or from the ghost.img?Google and forum searches seem to answer no to this question.Kindest regardsJames
jaclaz Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Or are there any possibilities of me being able to nlite my windows either as above or from the ghost.img? You can most probably get/rebuild a valid \I386\ source, but it is a "manual" operation and a lengthy/cumbersome one.Generally speaking those images ALSO have a \I386\ directory, but cannot say if this is your case.Have a look here (and links within):jaclaz
