RadioActiveLamb Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 I've created an ISO that I'm using to upgrade 2000 servers to 2003 R2. With nLite, I've packaged all these hotfixes/updates:IE7-WindowsServer2003-x86-enu.exeWindows2003-SP2-WindowsMedia-KB975558-x86-ENU.exeWindowsMedia6-KB925398-v2-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB932168-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB927891-v5-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB926122-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB929123-x86-ENU.exeIE7-WindowsServer2003-KB938127-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB936357-v2-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB941569-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB945553-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB950974-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB950762-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB951748-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB952954-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB952004-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB925902-v2-x86-custom-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB952069-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB958644-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB956802-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB960803-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB956572-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB954155-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB961501-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB958469-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB971657-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB971032-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB968389-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB960859-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB973540-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB973507-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB969059-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB971961-JS57-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB973869-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB973815-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB956844-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB958869-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB967723-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB975025-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB953298-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB971737-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB974571-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB974112-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB974318-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB974392-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB975713-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB972270-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB970430-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB971513-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB973904-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB977914-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB975560-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978037-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978706-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978601-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB979309-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978542-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB977816-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978338-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB980232-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB979683-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB979482-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB979907-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB981349-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB978695-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB975562-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB981322-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB980195-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB980436-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2115168-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2229593-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2121546-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB982214-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2259922-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2079403-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB979687-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2286198-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2141007-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2360937-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2347290-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB982132-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2378111-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2387149-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2296011-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2345886-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2388210-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2416451-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2436673-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2423089-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2296199-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2443685-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2440591-x86-ENU.exeIE7-WindowsServer2003-KB2416400-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2443105-x86-ENU.exeWindowsServer2003-KB2467659-x86-ENU.exeYes... we're only going to IE7 with the browser.During the upgrade, Windows complains about not being able to find a driver on some drive/path, which stops the upgrade until I click "OK". It continues on, but there's no clue at-all about what driver that might be. More importantly, after the install, there are still 14 updates. This is fine. It's MUCH better than the 100 that I had before. One of those updates is KB958869, which fails to install with error 0x8007F0F4. After reboots and what-not, I cannot get this update to install, and it doesn't go away.Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!- Jeff
johnhc Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 RadioActiveLamb, I hope you have read the nLite license. It permits only personal use and does not permit any business or other non-personal application. It sounds like you are in a business environment, but, if not, please attach your Last Session.ini, as requested in LARGE BOLD RED LETTERS above. Enjoy, John.
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 (edited) Just to confirm: nLite's EULA states that you cannot use it in a corporate environment; it is for personal use only.Edit: repeating myself; johnhc, looks like you beat me to it in seconds Cheers Edited December 22, 2010 by Sp0iLedBrAt
RadioActiveLamb Posted December 22, 2010 Author Posted December 22, 2010 The one EULA I didn't read, and blindly clicked "I agree". Something as critical as that should go on the website. Consider selling it (mandatory donation for businesses?) - I'd buy it.Take care.

I should point out that nuhi (nLite author/owner) has not been seen here in over a year and it appears that development of nLite is halted. There are unattended forums above for your OS and with a little work, you can get very successful results. It is what I use for W7 instead of any of the automated programs available. Many posters will be glad to help. You can start by posting your error. If you will look at the Device Manager for yellow bangs, you may be able to identify the missing driver. Enjoy, John.
