I have seen many solutions but I think this one is by far the easiest one to use. http://www.webupd8.org/2010/11/fix-pidgin-msn-omegacontactsmsncom.html#more1. Download this omega.contacts.msn.com certificatehttp://webupd8.googlecode.com/files/omega.contacts.msn.com2. In Pidgin, go to Tools > Certificates and remove the existing "omega.contacts.msn.com" certificate.
