The Windows® Automated Installation Kit (AIK) for Windows® 7

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I wonder if someone got the filehashes for WAIK, this is needed for 7customizer:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=696dd665-9f76-4177-a811-39c26d3b3b34

I downloaded it 2 times now already, and both of the files came up with corrupt files errors during the setup. This really sucks because the files are 1.7 GBs! Getting frustrated right now.

The last file I downloaded has this hashes. Is this good?

dumble, here's mine:

CRC32: 9008BC2A
MD5: 1E73B24A89ECEAB9D50585B92DB5482F
SHA-1: 793F4CC4741EBAD223938BE0EEEE708EDA968DAA
Size : 1.66 GB (1,789,542,400 bytes)

I am not sure we have the same version (could find no version information) but mine works fine and I DLed one the other day to see if it had been updated and the hashes were the same as these (see here). Enjoy, John..

I confirm the values:

File Size: 1 789 542 400 octets
CRC32: 9008bc2a
MD5: 1e73b24a89eceab9d50585b92db5482f
SHA1: 793f4cc4741ebad223938be0eeee708eda968daa

Have you downloaded the correct version if you have an localized version? Do you need KB3AIK_EN.iso ?

*Edit:

Installing Windows AIK in two languages on the same computer is not supported

Windows AIK enables a subsequent installation in a different language, even if there is a pre-existing Windows AIK with another language installed. Installation of Windows AIK in multiple languages on the same computer is not supported.

Installing a localized Windows AIK in an additional language results in an inconsistent experience

Installing a localized Windows AIK in a language that is not the active operating-system language might cause the tools and the documentation to be displayed in different languages.
