Hello, I want to make an unattended version of win7 sp1 using 7customizer. I allready have win7 sp1 as a source dvd. So I want to add updates that were released after sp1. If you have to use 7customizer you need Windows AIK, I noticed that MS released WAIK for win7 sp1. Heja, I just Installed a custom stripped down version of WINxp Pro SP3 (I removed the original Net Framework that ships with XP). Its not the first time for that im installing XP, but I never really knew what to do with .net framework.. I usually just install them all via MS update. But I read its not necessary for example to install .net framework 1.1. As you can see I haven't installed any .net framework version. Which versions do I have to install? Do I only need to install the latest version 4?

ok, it seems I have the wrong file (again).. im gonna try downloading it with a downloadmanager connected with the cable (instead of wireless),, see if this time it works

Hello, I wonder if someone got the filehashes for WAIK, this is needed for 7customizer: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=696dd665-9f76-4177-a811-39c26d3b3b34 I downloaded it 2 times now already, and both of the files came up with corrupt files errors during the setup. This really sucks because the files are 1.7 GBs! Getting frustrated right now. The last file I downloaded has this hashes. Is this good?

Ok, i installed the latest version of winsetupfromusb. I extracted files from windowsxp iso file to a folder [WINXP]. I think first i need to format my usb with the use of rmprepusb, but what options do i have to choose? Is this ok?:

@dottbin, no need for it. You can use daemon tools; http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/download.php Much butter tool for mounting (and it is freeware).

ok i get it now, i want to make just a CD-setup-disk so it think its gonna work.. i will start to8 because it is to good weather out-side now to stay behind my dekstop B) Thanks 4 your fast replies!

i thought i read in a tutorial that you have to have xppro with sp1 before you start adding sp3... but this is not true then? if so, then i can start creating a disk with this 2 files? i think if you start with sp0 as the source, the xp-disk will be 'cleaner' ? or am i not right? and sorry for my english

Is it possible to make a windowsxp cd with sp0 as the source disk and then just slipstream sp3? i never made an xp-cd.. I have this files: > windows.xp.pro.sp0.rtm.nrg - 500.635 kB > WindowsXP-KB936929-SP3-x86-NLD.exe - 313.157 kB thanks
