ADSL USB modem

Has anyone used an ADSL USB modem under Win 7? I tried a

Conexant Access Runner and could install the driver; the

modem gets an IP address and the ADSL diagnostics are OK,

but I could not get a PPPoE connection. NetMon shows

different values of HWA for the modem and NDISWANBH; the

last does not have an IP address.

O/S: Windows 7 Home Starter, preinstalled in the computer.
