Chatum Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 In the guide it says 'Next we arrive at the option to integrate drivers that Windows does not install by default- These can be drivers for almost any type of hardware as long as you use the correct driver' Although I used nlite a couple of years ago I remember have a slight problem with an network card driver. A couple of questions.....1) How do I know which drivers Windows does not install by default..it seems most hardware in XP is now plug and play.2)Is it a good idea to back up drivers before a clean install? Can anyone recommend any software to do this?TIA for any help.
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 This is the place where you can find software to backup your drivers http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/88-device-drivers/Cheers
Guest Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 > How do I know which drivers Windows does not install by defaultYou could do a test install and see which drivers are missing or just go to the manufacturers website and download all the drivers they offer for your hardware.
Chatum Posted September 12, 2010 Author Posted September 12, 2010 Thanks for the replies. I should have no problem with drivers now.
