McCordRM Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Just curious which one is further along/more advanced. Thanks, much.
RickSteele Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 Just curious which one is further along/more advanced. Thanks, much.RT7Lite is the vlite for Windows 7 and is much more advanced than 7customizer. The developer has eliminated most of the bugs that plagued earlier beta's, plus enriched the options with a wealth of content. Most (99%) concerns with RT7Lite originate with the users' lack of knowledge; ie: removing too much for what they want the OS to do. If slimming down the ISO is not your priority then using DISM to install drivers/updates/packages, WAIK to create a detailed, inclusive answer file and 7Customizer to add some basic reg tweaks is the way to go.7Customizer is, for all intensive purposes, dead-the developer has not done anything with it since April so expect no support or new features.Hope this helps,RickSteele
McCordRM Posted July 25, 2010 Author Posted July 25, 2010 Customerizer seemed dead... that's why I asked.I used to use Nlite back in the day. I missed being ableto create my own install disk with services and componentsremoved, etc. Oh, btw: This is Nightlord. I changed my username becauseI'm now going by a universal forum name: McCordRM.
grabben Posted July 25, 2010 Posted July 25, 2010 (edited) We dont know if 7Customizer is dead, we havent heard from Blue4603 but i hope he comes back and continue his work.7Lite is a good app today Atleast 7C looks way better then 7Lite Edited July 25, 2010 by grabben
