Plagued by BSOD

I can't figure this thing out. I'm trying to make a custom install of XP Home SP3 from my original install CD, and I've tried a a whole ton of different configurations with no luck. Without fail, what happens is as soon as it boots and gets to the Windows set-up I get a blue screen crash. It always happens immediately after the "push f6 to load third party drivers" part, during the screen where it says "Windows is loading files" at the bottom. I've tried changing settings, thinking that I mistakenly left out a critical component, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. I've also tried numerous burning programs thinking that might be the problem, but no matter what I do it always crashes in the same exact spot during install.

I've been pulling my hair out for hours, and starting to contemplate just installing it with the original CD and doing all the updates and removal of components as best I can manually. Probably would have saved some time doing it that way at this rate. I attached my latest "last session.ini" file. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

If your oroginal disk does not BSOD, it means you've removed an essential component from it. I would begin with not removing "SCSI/RAID". I see you add pnp drivers for storage device. You probably need to integrate the text mode driver if that is for your system drive.

+ for your lan settings to work, I think you need to fill the macadress for both adapters. Good luck.

B609, I suspect your text mode driver. Where did it come from? Have you seen the Sticky above on SATA/RAID Intel drivers? I also hope you are not using F6 because this will lead to corrupted text mode drivers unless you disable OEM Preinstall in the Unattended - General tab (you did not). Enjoy, John.
