richierich23 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Hello All,This is my first post, and I have tried searching the forum for an answer, but havent seen one yet, so heres the questions.I have created an unattended 'fully automated' XPSP3 disk via nlite, however the install when booted still stops at the disk format / partition part of the install as well as the regional settings menu even though I have definately set the iso to be created as a fully automated install AND set the regional setting to English (United Kingdom)I would like the disc to automatically delete any partitions present and create a new one, then fully format using NTFS.Id like to have a disk that literally boots, and finishes inside windows without me touching anything.Any suggesstions?ThanksRichard
cluberti Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 I've moved your post to nLite, as this is where it should start. If you could, please attach (not paste) your lastsession.ini file, as well as the winnt.sif file created on your XP CD by nLite so we can have a look at what's going on.

The nLite Fully Automated will not normally skip the partition/format step. There is a way to do this via the winnt.sif, however. So, please attach (not paste) your files and we'll have a look. Enjoy, John.
Ponch Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Have you searched for "partition"?nLite does not have options to auto-partition/auto-format. You have to manually edit the winnt.sif before creating the iso. As for the regional settings, there must be a problem with your settings indeed, so post your last session_u.ini as well, but removing the serial.
