Windows 7 crash

I am operating windows 7 64 ultimate, I have installed flight simulator x gold (i.e. the latest version) and it works fine until I reset then I have problems I have to restor the thing to a restor point then reinstall the whole lot again, trying to get any help is like trying to find hens teeth and I do not want to have to pay money for a problem that is clearly Microsofts fault has anybody any ideas even if its just a contact number
